Art. 12 - The winner of the Top Prize of the Contest will be awarded to

Grant of 1.500.000 lire and also 1 Award Concert for the 2000 Season.

Art. 13 - Applicants are requested to notify in good time (by FAX) if they are

unable to take part of help ensure the smooth  running of the auditions.

Art. 14 - The roll of the entrants will be called 30 minutes before each

individual audition. The unjustified absence of one or more candidates will not be accepted; in the case of mere delay where prior notice is given, the competitor or competitors will be heard at the end of the auditions already arranged for that category.

Art. 15 - Competitors must comply with the rules herewith, otherwise steps

will be taken for their immediate exclusion from the Contest and entrance fees will not be refunded.

Art. 16 - For any dispute  arising, the competent judicial authority is the

Forum of Taranto.

Art. 17 - The winner of the Top Prize will be announced during the final

evening. He/she will be among all the cmpetitors who obtained not less than 98/100 in the course of the auditions.

Art. 18 - Both the auditions and the final evening, set for Sunday, Xth June

at 7.30 p.m., will be open to the public.

Art. 19The competitors of Cat. “Little Hands”: freely-chosen programme

for a  max. time of 7 min.

The competitors of Cat. A: freely-chosen programme for a  max.

time of 15 min.

The competitors of Cat. B: freely-chosen programme for a max. time of 20 min.

The competitors of Cat. C: freely-chosen programme for a max. time of 25 min.

The competitors of Cat. D: freely-chosen programme for a max. time of 30 min.

The competitors of Cat. E: two tests eliminatory competition (max. 20 min.): a study; one or more pieces freely-chosen.

Final test (max time 40 minutes): a classical sonata chosen among the following:W. A. Mozart (K. 282, K. 545, K. 547a excluded); L. W. Beethoven (Op. 49 nn. 1-2, Op. 79 excluded); J. Haydn (Hob. XVI, nn. 1-8); M. Clementi: a sonata among the most important; one or more pieces from the romantic and/or modern repertory.

The competitors of Cat. F: two tests: eliminatory test (max time

25 minutes), a study (see compulsory pieces), a free choice of one

or more pieces.

FINAL TEST (max time 60 minutes): a classical

sonata (see notes Cat. E), one or more pieces from the romantic

and/or modern repertory.

The competitors of Cat. F: two tests: eliminatory test (max time

25 minutes), a study (see compulsory pieces), a free choice of one

or more pieces. FINAL TEST (max time 60 minutes): a classical

sonata (see notes Cat. E), one or more pieces from the romantic

and/or modern repertory.
